As planned, I'm taking a short break from Final Freedom to finish Anne's Story. I've gotten the first twenty-odd frames done. As before each frame is run by Anne herself to verify the accuracy of the sprit if not the details of the story from her life.
Unlike the "Our Decades of Open Marriage" which is strait prose and sticks to the literal facts; converting a story to the graphic novel takes a significant level of artistic license. That is why this is more a "Based on Anne's Life" than simple bio.
I hope to finish this project in a month or two and get back to finish Final Freedom. You can think of these frames as a sort of sneak preview of the ongoing work.
What a beautiful and engaging story.
I am very very glad to read this second part ! It is great.
Nice to hear chapter two of Anne's life!
As usual, your images carry the story along with the dialogue bubbles. This is not your typical graphic novel or comic book style of narration, as you must tell a story within a story in only 28 art works. Each frame, with the dialogue from the past event and the "voice-over" of the present, pushes the story forward. The sexual philosophy is well established - Anne's Mom can have sex with whomever, whenever she wants. What about her poor Dad? Why can't he have the same privilege as his wife? What is good for the geese must be good for the gander. A woman's vagina is not just a receptacle for the man's phallus and seed. Mythological, the genitals are…
You're a man with a mission. I'm looking forward to the rest of Anne's Story.
